Are you excited? I can’t keep my composure! The Latika Vines Show is turning 3 on April 4th, with an anniversary celebration on Friday, March 31, 2023! I am so excited to invite you to this anniversary celebration.
On Friday, March 31, 2023, at 8:30 pm EST, I will be streaming LIVE on social media to celebrate such an amazing accomplishment.
Why celebrate?
I celebrate because I know that God asked me to use my voice to support and recognize working moms. I know that He asked me to use my voice to talk about the things that I was going through and what other working moms were going through. I use my voice (and the voice of the guests) to help working moms know that they are never alone in the many things they go through. While also sharing with them that they no longer have to struggle - there is hope and there is victory!
But, let me tell you…
75% of podcasts fail. There is a lot of work that contributes to the success of a podcast. To host a successful podcast, you must:
have a team to help produce episodes
distribute episodes across multiple platforms for listeners
ensure SEO can assist in the search of your podcast,
have a need for an audience to listen to your podcast (e.g. topics, guests, etc…) and much more.
Many times, I thought about quitting. I thought about giving up on the podcast and doing something different. I thought about washing my hands of being in the podcast/media space. With the work that is involved in hosting a podcast, I didn’t feel like I had enough listeners. I didn’t think the episodes were getting to the right audience. But, in the moments when I thought about quitting, I received a message from a listener that tells me,
“your episodes are right on time”
“I love your calm voice”
“You were talking to me in that last episode”
“is that really your sister that you bring onto episodes?”
These messages inspire me to keep going. And, I want to say thank you for being a supporter and listener of The Latika Vines Show.
